LS Forced Induction

When you’re ready to take performance to the next level, our forced induction packages deliver exceptional power while maintaining outstanding street manners and daily drivability. Superchargers provide strong torque throughout the entire rev range, delivering highly efficient horsepower with minimal effort. They also require fewer modifications for installation compared to other forced induction options, making them easier to fit within the factory engine bay. Should you ever decide to remove, upgrade, sell, or revert the vehicle for compliance reasons, supercharger systems generally involve significantly less labour time to return the vehicle to standard form.

BYE Performance are authorised dealers for Harrop Engineering and Whipple Superchargers and also offer GM LSA blower drive-in and drive-out packages. Every package is tailored to suit the individual client’s goals, intended usage, and performance requirements.

For street applications, BYE Performance does not currently offer turbocharger installations due to a range of performance, drivability, and reliability considerations. However, if your vehicle is dedicated to motorsport use and you are seeking a turbocharged setup, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Recommended Supporting Modifications

Our minimum recommendation for supercharging an LS platform includes:

We will also assess all supporting components including the fuel system, drivetrain, cooling system, and any additional modifications required to ensure your build is reliable, safe, and capable of supporting the intended power output.

Selected supercharger systems are also available as supply-only packages through our online store.

Choosing the Right Supercharger

Selecting the correct supercharger depends on your power goals, intended vehicle usage, and future upgrade plans.

LSA & 2300 Superchargers - Up to 700 RWHP

The LSA and 2300 platforms are excellent choices for street-driven vehicles seeking strong responsiveness and immediate torque delivery.

These smaller displacement blowers typically provide:

Smaller superchargers typically offer improved responsiveness and stronger low-RPM performance compared to larger blower combinations, particularly when operating at low boost levels.

Smaller units also perform exceptionally well when overdriven and generally do not require a fully upgraded fuel system until around 620 RWHP, making them a popular choice for standard bottom-end engine combinations. For customers targeting power levels beyond 700 RWHP, the limitations of smaller superchargers become more apparent, as they often require increased blower speed, higher intake temperatures, and more extensive supporting modifications to maintain efficiency and reliability.

2650 / 2650i / 3000i Superchargers — 700–1000+ RWHP

For customers pursuing higher power figures, the 2650, 2650i, and Whipple 3000i platforms offer substantially greater airflow capacity and efficiency. These systems are capable of producing larger power outputs with less overdrive and reduced stress on the supercharger itself. They are the ideal option if:

While “bigger” is often appealing, selecting the right supercharger should always consider the vehicle’s intended use, supporting modifications, and overall drivability goals.
