Custom Dyno Tuning

ECU Calibration and Tuning is performed onsite at BYE by our dedicated in-house tuner. With over 18years experience tuning a huge variety of vehicles with proven results, we can give you the perfect street, track or strip drivability and reliability you’re looking for. 

All tunes are custom, no “flash” tuning and we can use a wide range of programs to suits individual needs including LINK engine management, EFI Live, HP Tuner, Motec, Holley, Haltech and many more. 

Tuning is conducted on our mainline roller chassis dyno which allows us to have excellent analytical abilities as well as road tuning for road registered vehicles to obtain the best possible results.

Tuning is performed by re-calibrating the ECU which allows custom mapping of the engine’s fuel, ignition, boost, fuel and other parameters to obtain optimum fuel economy and performance from the vehicle while being safe and reliable as well as great manners at part throttle as well as wide open throttle.

All results vary depending on the vehicle type, year, modifications and transmission. All vehicles tuned are supplied with the Dyno results printed out.

Tuning Checklist

When a car isn’t fully prepared for tuning, it can delay your booking, affect tuning accuracy, and in some cases risk engine damage. Vehicles that do not meet the readiness requirements may be turned away and will need to be rebooked. To ensure the best results and keep everyone on schedule, please review the checklist below before drop-off.

Fuel System
• Vehicle must have fresh, correct fuel.
• Tank should be at least ¾ full to maintain consistent fuel supply and prevent lean conditions under load.

Electrical System
• Battery must be fully charged and healthy.
• Charging system must be operating correctly.
Low voltage during tuning can cause unstable data, ECU errors, failed flashes or even the possibilty to brick your ECU resulting in further expense and time delay.

Mechanical Condition
• Vehicle should be fault-free with no active issues.
• All fluids at correct levels and within service intervals.
• No leaks, misfires, overheating issues, or warning lights.
A tune cannot compensate for mechanical faults.

Engine Builds / Conversions / Camshaft Upgrades
If your vehicle has had recent engine work:
• Provide full engine specifications before your appointment.
• Confirm stable oil pressure and correct oil viscosity.
• Ensure all systems are filled, bled, and run-in where required.
